The Catholic Church is once again doing which the Catholic Church does the best … Jesus Christ, that is, to focus on anything except Mary and saints.
In this particular case, they are saints.
And they just hit a new one!
Meet from Carlo Acutis, who are known as “Gods Influenceer” for all great works that spread the message of the Catholic Church.
Good on it! Looks like a great child. While I disagree with some behavior of the Catholic Church, it actually feels like a great child, and sadly he died of cancer at the age of 15.
He has now been declared a saint by Leo from the south:
I do not know a ton about Catholicism, but I believe you have to do two miracles to become a saint.
So what was his?
Once again, I do not want to reduce the fact that it sounds like a great child, but it feels a little hacj for me:
There is a child in question Carlo acuteA 15 -year -old Italian teenager (born in London) was from Leukemia in 2006 and recently canonies as the first Millennial Saint of the Catholic Church on 7 September 2025.
The two miracles have been officially attributed to their intervention, paving the way for their saints:
Medicine of a Brazilian boy (2012):
A young boy name Mats VianaWho was suffering from a rare pancreatic disorder, who caused severe vomiting and prevented him from placing food down (left at the risk of low weight and death), visited the grave of acuteis in Asi, Italy. After touching and praying a remnant, the boy immediately recovering, capable of eating normally without further issues. The medical test in 2014 confirmed complete treatment, which was recognized by the Vatican as a miracle in 2020, which led to the beating of acutees.Medicine of Costa Rickon Student (2022):
Valeria velvaradeA 21 -year -old university student in Costa Rica suffered a serious painful brain injury from a bicycle accident in Florence, Italy, leaving her into a coma with a very little probability of survival. Her mother visited the grave of acutees in Asisi, so that she could be prayed for her recovery. Shortly after, Valeria began to breathe on her own, re -achieved consciousness, and made a complete recovery despite the initial strict medical predictions. The Vatican approved it as a second miracle in 2024, enabling the canonization of acutees.
My real beef?
Who is getting glory in the midst of all this?
Have you seen Jesus Chris mentioning once?
Or is there a lot of pride in a 15 -year -old child and his “magical” mausoleum?
Hmm….
Then it is – apparently, during the ceremony, he claimed that St. Carlo was now in the sky among the constellations:
Hmm, okay.
Again, I am remembering any reference for Jesus Christ, but perhaps it’s just me.
Magical grave? check.
Worshiping stars? check.
Making humans saints? check.
Jesus Chris? missing.
Then it is:
Oh my goodness, so he is now on “performance” for eternity?
Then, so people can go to meet him and do miracles on it?
Does glory go to him or Jesus?
And what kind of magic is there to preserve such a body and keep it perfect for the coming years without any decay? Very scary if you ask me.
More than here CNN,
An Italian teenager who preferred to play video games and made funny films of her pet on Sunday became the first “millennium” saint of the Catholic Church.
Carlo Ekutis, who was just 15 years old when he died of leukemia in 2006, used his computing skills to spread awareness about Catholic confidence, documenting miracles report to a website.
The surname “Gods Influenceer”, he is seen as a pioneer of church’s promotional efforts in the digital world.
Often wearing jeans, a T-shirt and sneakers, acuteis looks very different from the old saints and has followed a global followed among young people as a reliable saint.
He had a canonization with another young man, Pear Georgio Frametti, who died in 1925 at the age of 24. The St.-Making ceremony was previously presided over by thousands of youth at Pope Leo XIV, St. Peter Square with American Pontiff.
The large crowd gathered in the city of Vatican on Sunday, taking a picture of acuteis waving signs and flags. Jubilant supervisors appreciated the teenager after the canoniization by Pope Leo.
The canonization of young saints occurs at a time when the Catholic Church, led by an all-man hierarchy where senior figures are usually more than 60, are looking for new ways to attach young generations. Crisis related to clerical sexual abuse of minors and weak adults has a terrible effect on the credibility of the church.
But while the long -term trend in the West suggests that young people are rapidly disintegrating with mainstream religion, evidence of recent survey and anecdotes indicates an increase in interest in Catholicism between Jean Z in the United States and Europe.
Acutis’s mother, Antonia Salajano says that her son’s life and belief are echoed with a generation of young people, especially of those who are navigating the complexities of the digital world.
“Carlo is a message of hope, because Carlo says,” Yes, you have to use (internet) for good. ” This is why Pope Francis called the influential person of Karlo Bhagwan, ”he told CNN in SC earlier this year.
Her son, she said, knew the “dark side” of the Internet and was alert about the addiction of the video game, choosing to play on her playstation for an hour in just one week.
