During a recent appearance on Hits Radio with co-host Mike Toolan, she revealed details of her family life and revealed the absence of husband Gorka due to work commitments.

She said: “He’s been gone for five weeks, who knows where he is, he’s all over the store.”

Despite the challenges, Gemma stressed the importance of family support and expressed her gratitude to her mother and sister who help look after the children.

In a candid reveal, she admitted she found it “easier” to establish a routine with her children when he was away, suggesting his presence sometimes disrupted that routine.

She explained, “That’s all Gorka and I have ever known, so sometimes it’s easier for me to fit into the kids’ routine when he’s gone, and then he comes back and disrupts that routine.”

Still, she fondly admitted that she was at home, saying: “But it’s nice to have him at home.”
