Gavin Newsom called the podcaster joe rogan To talk about him so often, And challenged him to invite him to his show for a debate.
Rogan has repeatedly poked fun at the Democratic California Governor and recently He said he wanted to be president “so bad.” Many have speculated that Trump’s foe Newsom may be eyeing a presidential run in 2028.
“You can’t ruin a city and then ruin a state and say, ‘Guys, this was just practice. Once I come in as president, I’ll fix all this,'” Rogan said, adding that he was a “terrible” politician and a “pariah artist.”
Speaking on the Higher Learning podcast, Newsom laid out the challenge.
Newsom told hosts Rachel Lindsay and Van Lathan, “He’s been attacking me for several years and won’t bring me on the show.”

Addressing Rogen directly, she continued, “Joe, why won’t you put me on the show? He won’t put me on the show. That’s one way. And he has guests coming in and attacking and assaulting, but he won’t have me on the show. Period. Full stop.”
Lindsay then suggested that Newsom should host Rogan on his podcast – This Is Gavin Newsom – with the governor agreeing. “Let’s take it. Let’s do it, Joe. Come on my show, Joe.”
Rogan also said that Newsom managed to remain governor for so long because of “low competition” for jobs in California. “There’s no good people competing against him, there’s no integrity.”
“The things he says when faced with him – ‘We are the highest, this and the highest is that’ – everybody is going [California]… You have the highest unemployment, you have the highest homelessness, even Hollywood is missing… You killed Hollywood, like, Hollywood doesn’t exist anymore. It’s really over.”
Responding to a clip of Rogan’s criticism, Newsom wrote on X: “Joe Rogan is also [chicken emoji] For including me on your show and making your listeners aware of the truth, so I will have it here,” adding a list of his state achievements.
He ended the post with, “I could go on… invite me anytime, @joerogan :).”
