Former Indian cricket team player Murali Kartik comments on Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Yash Dayal during their IPL 2024 match against Punjab Kings on Monday Later, it received a lot of criticism on social media. Dayal ended up conceding five sixes in five balls against Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, an unpopular feat that had a huge impact on the young cricketer. However, he was picked up by RCB for Rs 5 crore in the 2024 IPL season and talking about the move, Karthik said: “Someone’s trash is someone’s treasure”. The comment did not receive a positive response from many social media users.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli overtook Suresh Raina to become the Indian player with the most catches in the men’s T20 format.

Kohli set this record while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kings XI Punjab (PBKS).

The 35-year-old took catches from PBKS batsmen Jonny Bairstow and Shikhar Dhawan to take his 174th catch in the T20 format.

In international T20 cricket, former West Indies cricketer Kieron Pollard leads the list with 362 catches.

South African batsman David Miller ranks second with 290 catches. Former West Indies batsman Dwayne Bravo ranks third with 271 catches in the T20 format.
