Four carriages and engine of super high-speed train derailed in Ajmer, Rajasthan, no casualties were reported

Four coaches and the engine of a super-fast train derailed near the Madar railway station in Ajmer, Rajasthan, injuring several passengers. It is reported that the incident occurred at 1:00 in the middle of the night.

According to officials, four coaches and the engine of the Sabarmati-Agra superfast train derailed near the Madar railway station. The rescue team arrived at the scene soon.

While no casualties were reported in the incident, several passengers were said to have suffered minor injuries. The injured have been sent to Ajmer station for treatment.

Passengers said the incident occurred around 1:00 am. Passengers said they were sleeping when they heard a loud noise.

Rescue teams including Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP) and Additional Divisional Railway Managers (ADRMs) and senior officials are at the scene. Efforts are underway to restore the derailed carriage and engine.
