A Pakistani anti-terrorism court on Tuesday extended the pre-arrest bail of former Prime Minister Imran Khan until February 9 in seven terrorism cases related to attacks on military facilities last May.

Mr Khan’s lawyer Salman Safdar told the court that he would present his arguments once the video link of the petitioner’s appearance in jail is flagged.
The court adjourned the hearing to February 9 as no arrangements had been made at Adiala Prison to mark the appearance of 71-year-old Mr Khan.
On August 11 last year, the ATC rejected Mr Khan’s pre-arrest bail for failing to appear in court, where he was jailed following his conviction in the Toshakana corruption case.
Later, a High Court judge quashed the ATC’s decision and reinstated the bail application.
The bench directed the trial court to mark the appearance of the petitioner through video link from the jail keeping in view the previous orders regarding the security of the petitioner.
Mr Khan has been in jail since August last year and was recently sentenced to 10 years, 14 years and seven years respectively in the cipher, Toshakhana and Iddat (his third illegal marriage) cases.
