Forest guard’s body recovered in Genderbal after 4 days

Officials said the body of a forest guard, who went missing four days ago, was recovered on Monday in the Gundaroshan area of ​​Genderbal.

An official told the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a forest guard, Shamim Ahmed Mir (44), a forest guard, while he was on duty, was submerged in the Sindh River near the compartment number 1 of the Paribal Forest Division.

He said that a discovery and rescue operation was started to trace him, but to no avail. He said, “After hard work by rescue and search teams, his body was recovered after four days this afternoon,” he said- (KNO)
