Florence Pugh reprises her role as Yelena Belova in Marvel movie thunderboltFans recently got an exclusive first look at the film’s Atlanta set via Instagram.
In the video, viewers can get a glimpse of Yelena’s new battle suit for the upcoming main force.
“I know I’ve stepped away a little bit, but part of that is because I was brought to Atlanta to shoot a movie that I’m not supposed to talk about,” Pugh said.
Despite the secrecy, she assured fans that she could secretly share glimpses from the set. “They’re shooting,” she added before signing off, “I’m going to be quiet now.”
During a visit to the set, Florence shot footage of various buildings being constructed and then unexpectedly met director Jack Schreier.
Schreier has an impressive background in filmmaking, having directed the following notable works robot and frank (2012) and Paperweight (2015).
Pugh panned the camera to one of the playback monitors to reveal Belova’s first official look, fully armed and ready for action in the film.
thunderbolt has secured a spot on Disney’s calendar of releases scheduled for May 2, 2025.
