The fire crew was called on the East Beach on the Bornmouth Cefront at around 1.20 pm, where a blast surrounded the huts and rock part.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, seven huts were destroyed and two others were damaged.
The crew was able to extinguish the fire within two hours and is now under investigation.
Bornmouth, Christchurch And the Pule (BCP) Council said that it is now possible to reach the site, but urged the public to stay away from the huts, while the teams work.

A statement from Dorset And Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to East Beach, Undercliff Drive, Bornemouth at 1.20 am today (27 May) for fire connected to several beach huts.
“Crew participated from SpringBorn, Westborne and Redhill Park, along with aerial ladder platform from Westborn. They got nine huts well well, as well as an area of about 25 meters x 15 meters.
“Two main jets and four hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire, and the stop was 2.50 pm.
“The scene was handed over to the BCP Council, and the investigation will continue even today what the fire is.”
