Family of four killed by speeding car while waiting for bus in Rajasthan

Jaipur:

A family of four, including an eight-month pregnant woman, died when a speeding car overturned them in Nagaur district, police said on Sunday.

They said a family of four were waiting for a bus when the accident occurred.

The deceased have been identified as Suman (24), a woman who was eight months pregnant, her husband Chhotu Ram (25), SHO of Degana police station Badri Prasad Meena said years), her son Rohit (2 years) and her sister-in-law Rekha (24 years).

The four persons were waiting for the bus at Jat ki Dhani on Bachhwas Road when the accident occurred, the SHO said. He said a car traveling at high speed overturned and fell on top of them.

He said the body had been handed over to relatives after a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered against the fugitive driver and a search has begun for his whereabouts.
