Ezra Miller’s superhero career on Amazon Prime animation has quietly come to an end.

The actor plays mad scientist DA Sinclair in the hit series Invincible The recast was done without much fanfare.

The role was taken over by Eric Bauza, known for his work in famous animated series such as X-Men ’97 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

While Miller only voiced Sinclair in one episode of the first season, the character returned for the second season, now voiced by Bauza.

The transition was seamless and fans didn’t notice the change until after the fact.

Amazon has remained silent on the recast decision. However, this shift seems to be a response to the past two years of Ezra’s personal life.

The actor has faced a series of charges and legal troubles, including a recent criminal case in Vermont where Miller pleaded guilty to burglary charges.

Those incidents, some of which were captured on video and attracted widespread attention, may have influenced the decision to replace Miller in the role of prosecutor Sinclair.
