Experienced defensive lineman Sean Lemon restores after CFL gambling suspension

Toronto – CFL has restored experienced defensive lineman Sean Lemon.

CFL suspended Lemon, 36, indefinitely to work on league games in 2021 on April 24, 2024, while a member of the Calgary Stampders, including a game.

After an appeal, an independent mediator retained the suspension.

The League said the restoration comes with specific circumstances. Any future violation of the CFL match manipulation policy will lead to a lifetime ban.

Lemon, who is currently a free agent, is now eligible to sign with any team.

However, he will not play immediately. Lemon should still serve a two-game suspension to violate the league drug policy after a positive test for the banned substance Fentemine.
