Erith Fire: London warns to close windows as 70 firefightings

The crew of Kent Fire and Rescue Service also participated in the incident and was able to bring the fire under control by 7 am.

The London Fire Brigade said, “Firefighters deployed a hose layer and high volume pump as part of their reaction, increasing the amount of water available for fire fighting. The 32 -meter -turnyable ladder was used as a water tower to help extinguish the fire from above,” London Fire Brigade said.

“The Brigade also deployed a drone to provide the incident to the commander with more status awareness of the fire.

“Many cylinders were removed from the area around the fire and cooled at an ambient temperature by the crew.”

The fire is under investigation by the fire investigating officers of the Brigade.
