Eric Cantona says Manchester United “are still very much alive in my heart” and hinted he is interested in taking on a role under new club owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Former Manchester United striker Cantona won four Premier League titles and two FA Cups Unity Retired as a player in 1997.
Speaking to The Big Issue ahead of the release of his live album Cantona Sings Eric later this month, the Frenchman said he No time to coach.
“As a manager, I’m involved in so many things that I really enjoy,” he said.

“In everything I do, I try to give 100 percent so that I can have confidence and enjoy it.
“So I don’t have time to be a manager. But maybe there’s something else…”
ratcliffe Last month, Manchester United completed a deal worth 1.25 billion pounds to acquire 27.7% of Manchester United’s shares, and Cantona believes that the club will once again challenge for major honors.
“Of course, I think we’ll be the best with Jim Ratcliffe back,” the 57-year-old said.

“The way you lead the club is important. Ratcliffe will always be a Manchester United fan and he is of course a great businessman but also passionate about sport.”
Cantona, who retired to pursue an acting career, added: “I always knew I would do something in the arts, any kind of art, painting, photography, acting. Music was the last one.”
“Music, that’s the biggest excitement we feel when we play football. Music touches you. Every one of us. I don’t think humans create music. Music is part of being human.”
Cantona’s self-composed live album “Cantona Sings Eric” will be released on March 29.
