Emma Stone gets excited in first trailer for ‘Kinds of Kindness’

Fresh off their Oscar-winning collaboration, Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos are teaming up again for another highly anticipated film.

The Oscar-winning actress stars in the debut trailer, which includes Margaret Qualley, Hunter Schafer, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Joe… Alvin, Hongzhou, and Mamoudou Assi. Kindness of all kinds.

In the 46-second clip, she begins her narration with anticipation, declaring: “This is it…the moment of truth” as she drives out of the parking lot in a purple Dodge Challenger.

The trailer keeps the dialogue light-hearted until the end, when Stone’s character pulls into a motel parking lot and asks, “Wouldn’t this be great?”

Set against the backdrop of Eurythmics’ iconic tracks Sweet dreams (made of this), The rest of the trailer offers glimpses of scenes from the upcoming film.

In one scene, Emma is photographed near a car. A woman in a wheelchair is nearby, suggesting a recent hospital escape or a potential kidnapping plot.

Willem Dafoe displays a range of emotions throughout the trailer, from pain and brooding to his signature maniacal laugh.

Emma and Lanthimos are reportedly discussing a fourth collaboration, considering a remake of the Korean film “Saving the Green Planet.”

The highly anticipated movie “Kindness” will premiere in theaters on June 21st.
