After a weekend performance in the city of Toronto, eleven people are facing allegations that police say that some participants allegedly attacked the authorities.
The protest started around 4:30 pm on Saturday, July 19, near Spadina Avenue and Front Street West, where a large group gathered at the intersection, causing traffic disruption.
Toronto police say the authorities issued several valid orders for protesters to clean the road and to stay on the pavement to reduce the crowd in the city core.
When the protesters allegedly refused to follow and continued to block the intersection, the police officials intervened, and the officials say the tension increased when the authorities tried to disperse the mob. It has been alleged that some persons protested and became aggressive.
Many people were detained at the scene, including several allegations, including attacking peace officials, interrupting police and mischief.
Among those arrested were 30 -year -old Ghasan Abulawi of Toronto, who were accused of obstructing a peace officer and failing to follow an undertaking. He attended the bail hearing on Sunday morning.

- Joseph in Alizda32, Toronto – disrupting a peace officer, capturing a prohibited weapon, carrying a hidden weapon
- Noor Abu-Ali28, Mississaga – a peace officer hinders
- Thomas butko38, Georgina K – two count to attack a peace officer
- Salim understands28, Burlington of – Attack a peace officer, intervene with disturbances, mischief/property
- Adam diabas26, Brampton – obstructs a peace officer
- Leslie Solomonian47, Toronto – obstructing a peace officer
- Jamil Nasar23, Windsor Ke – obstructing a peace officer, attacking a peace officer
Most of the accused are to appear in court on either September 8 or September 12, 2025.
Officials say 32 -year -old Ahalam Mohammed of Toronto was also arrested on Saturday. She was an excellent suspect in an investigation into an mischief that began on 24 April 2025.
Mohammed’s face involves forcibly entry, mischief/property and intervention with illegal assembly. She will appear in court on August 22, 2025.
The Toronto Police Service says the investigation is going on.
