However, Barrymore emphasized that her personal feelings about the industry do not necessarily align with negative or harmful assumptions about the industry.

Despite her success and gratitude for her career, she remains wary of exposing her children to the spotlight too early.

While her children have expressed an interest in acting, social media and singing, Barrymore stresses the importance of prioritizing their education and experiences in school plays and theater camps.

The actress admitted she couldn’t provide a specific age or “number” at which her daughters would be allowed into the public eye, saying it would ultimately be a sense of readiness.

She stressed the need to listen to children, support them and trust their judgment when the time comes.

As a parent, Barrymore expressed her desire to support her children as they grow up, but did not specify an age.

However, she said that the threshold for entering the entertainment industry may be “14 or 15 years old and above.”
