Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler Harshit Rana took a humorous dig at the BCCI after their win over Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024. Harshit was fined 50 percent of his match fee for giving farewell to Mayank Agarwal during KKR’s match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was handed a one-match suspension and deducted 100 per cent of his match fee following another incident against Delhi Capitals, which the IPL deemed a “breach of code of conduct”.

Harshit once again made headlines after KKR’s win over LSG on Sunday when he celebrated with his infamous ‘flying kiss’ but did not complete it. It was the celebration that led to her punishment but this time, she kept her head down and placed her finger on her lips.

After the match, due to bad weather, KKR’s charter flight from Lucknow to Kolkata had to be diverted to Guwahati. In a video going viral on social media, Harshit can be seen chatting with head coach Chandrakant Pandit about their remaining fixtures in IPL 2024.

Harshit suggested that since they are already in Guwahati, they should play Rajasthan Royals in the next few days and complete the match. Both the teams will face each other in the final game of the group stage on April 19 in Guwahati. Chandrakant Pandit was surprised by this suggestion and humorously replied that it was a good idea and he would talk to his contacts in BCCI about it. Suggestion.

“BCCI talk to me hi matt (Please do not talk to BCCI)” Harshit replied.

Harshit took 3 wickets for KKR in the win over LSG.

“We don’t want to take anything for granted and that’s the kind of approach we want to take to make the playoffs. The coaches told me to focus on hitting harder lengths and rewarded me for doing that. I keep working on the areas I need to improve, it becomes very useful when he (Russell) comes in and takes wickets during the middle overs and it also helps with the change of pace. Yes,” said Harshit.
