According to data from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Tesla Stock, Tesla Stock, Tesla Stock, the United States President Donald Trump, topped the assets of his nearest colleague Elon Musk for the first time since November 2024.
While Elon Musk remains the world’s richest man, all the benefits made since Donald Trump’s election victory last year have now disappeared.
Elon Musk’s money slips below $ 300 billion
According to the index, at the time of writing (6.30 pm on 8 April), Tesla, SpaceX and X major Elon Musk have fallen to $ 298 billion, which has been $ 135 billion since the announcement of Donald Trump’s new tariff last week.
Overall, all 500 billionaires on the index have collectively lost at least $ 500 billion, as extensive tariffs were announced at 180 countries.
