As Donald Trump is busy going in and out of court, all eyes were on Pennsylvania on Tuesday as the key state to decide the fate of the United States elections in November. Axios informed of.

While former President and Joe Biden has already been selected as his party’s presidential nominee, he has won the Republican and Democratic primaries in Pennsylvania, garnering even more votes.

Trump, who was projected to win the Grand Old Party (GOP) primary, won 84% of the vote, out of 92% of the vote.

Republican Nikki Haley, who has suspended her presidential candidacy, also received 17% of the vote.

Trump currently faces 34 felony counts in his New York criminal case and is largely campaigning from the courtroom as his trial is set to take place over the next few days.

He is the first former president to face a criminal trial in American history.

Due to the allegations, many staunch Republican supporters refused to vote for him.

Terry Bimley of Pennsylvania said, “I’m a very strong Republican, but it’s hard to support Mr. Trump.” Instead, they decided to vote for Haley.

In last month’s Franklin & Marshall poll, 48% of voters said Trump was better able to handle the economy, compared with 39% for Biden.
