Srinagar, May 12: Srinagar police issued a cyber security alert on Monday, shared a post on X, “Calls from WhatsApp number and enemy intelligence operators are being used to contact officials and contact journalists, citizens and public data to remove sensitive information about the ongoing situations.”
“Everyone is strictly advised not to answer or share any information with unknown or suspicious callers. Any sharing of operational or sensitive details with unauthorized persons can invite legal action.” Reads the post.
Srinagar police said, “Report any such call or message to your nearest police station or cyber cell”.
