Former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star Gautam Gambhir welcomed his old team as a Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday. Ahead of the high-profile match, Karthik gave his verdict on the crucial face-offs in Knight Riders’ clash with Royal Challengers and while picking his face-off No. 1 in this match, Gambhir and Kohli became number one. Karthik’s remarks were in reference to what happened between the two former India teammates during the clash between RCB and Lucknow Supergiants.

Kohli and Gambhir famously fell out after an initial tiff between RCB stalwart and LSG pacer Naveen-ul-Haq. Gambhir then stepped in to support Naveen and ended up getting into a heated argument with Kohli.

The IPL 2023 legend has arguably become the most talked about topic of the tournament. Karthik jokingly predicted Kohli vs Gambhir 2.0 when KKR takes on RCB on Friday night.
