DG CRPF visits Srinagar, takes stock of safety and preparation of opes

GP Singh, DG CRPF visited Srinagar on Tuesday and reviewed the operations of the Central Reserve Police Force.

The DG, who is on a 03-day visit to the valley, proceeded to 181 BN, CRPF, Charor-e-Sharif soon after landing in Srinagar. DG, Vitul Kumar, SDG OPS DTE, Rajesh Kumar, ADG Jammu -Kashmir region, Vineet Breeze Lal, IG, Pawan Kumar Sharma, IG, and Mitesh Jain, IG inspected 181 Battalians and considered security landscape and OPS with commandments.

Apart from reviewing the overall security scenario, the DG’s journey also focuses on the readiness and preparation of the force in the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025.

The DG then interacted with Jawans in Samlain and addressed his complaints. In his address, the DG appreciated the personnel for their strong commitment to duty and their service to the motherland. He also expressed confidence that the force would continue to serve the nation with enthusiasm and valor.

Returning to Srinagar on the same day, DG interacted with Range Digs and Commanding Officers and at a conference at a conference at a conference to 47 battalion commanding officers which lasted for more than 03 hours.
