A woman thanked Delhi Police for getting her iPhone back within hours of losing it. Speaking to X, Ekta Thakur expressed her gratitude to the authorities who took immediate action to locate her lost phone. The incident took place in Munirka, Delhi. In her post, she said that she managed to get her lost iPhone back after Delhi Police became active, and got her phone back in just three hours. She also highlighted that she is very grateful to the Delhi Police for its “continuous service” in keeping the city safe.
“My deep gratitude to HC Ajay Yadav, Anil Yadav and Gajraj Rao, who took action regarding the lost iPhone in Munirka, which was recovered within 3 hours of its loss. I am deeply grateful for his continuous service in keeping Delhi safe. Thank you so much,” Ms Thankur wrote while sharing a selfie with the head constables.

In the comments section, Ms Thakur also shared that the police were “highly invested” in getting her phone back as soon as they heard about the unfortunate incident. “They took me to the police station, lodged an FIR and took the IMEI number from Jio’s records and started tracking the phone,” he wrote.
Ms Thakur shared the post on Friday. His tweet not only caught the attention of social media users but also caught the attention of the official X account of Delhi Police. The department re-shared her post and thanked Ms Thakur for appreciating her service. “Thank you for sharing your experience and appreciating our service, Ekta ji!” Delhi Police wrote.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police also made headlines last year for helping a British YouTuber find his iPhone lost in an auto-rickshaw during Ganeshotsav. A YouTuber named Phil Bland captured the entire episode and uploaded it to his channel, where he has more than 72,000 followers. Mr. Bland, while exploring the city, realized that he had lost his iPhone during Ganeshotsav celebrations. He contacted the police and the police quickly came to his aid.
The YouTuber got the good news within a few hours and finally his phone also arrived. Mr Bland expressed his gratitude to the police by taking photographs with police officers and calling them “the best in the world”.
