Delhi: Four burnt to death in house fire in Pitampura

At least four people were burnt to death in a fire that broke out in a house in Delhi’s Pitampura area on Thursday evening. Fire officials said that one person from the house is missing.

According to officials, the fire was reported from Zilla Parishad Block, Pitampura at 8 pm, following which eight fire tenders were sent for service. A Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official said four people died in the fire and one person is missing.

The officer further said that the fire has been extinguished and cooling operations are underway.

Police personnel and rescue teams were also present at the spot.
