He said in a statement, “They can bid either independently or as a joint venture or as Consortia.
“This is an important step towards exploiting indigenous expertise, capacity and capacity to develop AMCA prototypes, which would be a major milestone for amazing (self -sufficiency) in the aerospace area,” said this.
The Cabinet Committee led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave theory for the fighter jet program last year.
The early development cost of the project is estimated to be around Rs 15,000 crore.
IAF is emphasizing for the AMCA project given its long -term need.
