Srinagar, July 08: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labro, today reviewed the site of infrastructure in the urban primary health centers (UPHCs) located in Nishat and Harvan areas of the district to take the evaluation of the overall health infra available at these two centers.
The purpose of this journey was to review the progression of the ongoing infrastructure upgradation functions, to further strengthen and improve the patient’s care facilities that the local population is provided better medical facilities.
Urban Primary Health Center, Harwan, DC inspected Diagnostic Labs and other sections of the health center. He also inspected the recently established digital calculation radiography machine under the District Capex to provide digital X-ray facility to the patients.
Later, DC visited the Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) in Nisha and reviewed the functioning of the convenience. He also inspected the second floor of UPHC Nishaat, which is close to completion of health services in the facility.
While interacting with senior health tasks and employees of the health center, DC insisted on providing better medical facilities to patients, besides treating them in a compassionate manner. He emphasized the importance of accessible and quality health services for the urban, rural and tribal population of the region.
During the journey, DC was accompanied by Chief Planning Officer, Phase Ahmed Dar; Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tahir Sajeed; Executive Engineer R&B, Executive Engineer KPDCL, Tehsildar North, Block Medical Officer Hazratbal and others related.
