Srinagar, July 09: To facilitate the success of enterprises in the district to ensure the fast and easy implementation of the Mission Yuva Yojana, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labra chaired a meeting in the hall of DC Office Complex on Wednesday.
Initially, DC reviewed a department in the implementation of Mission Yuva Yojana and emphasized stakeholder departments to ensure the fast and easy implementation of the scheme to facilitate the success of youth -led enterprises in the district.
The DC emphasized strong on-ground implementation and effective inter-kidnapping coordination to avoid delay in approval and disposal of benefits to eligible beneficiaries. He directed regular performance monitoring of progress under Mission Yuva on a daily basis and held meetings of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) every Wednesday till the disposal of all the applications received.
On this occasion, DC asked the stakeholders departments to re -create efforts to upload Swift processing/ verification on the portal and mission Uva matters.
He emphasized the implementation of Mission youth to empower youth through permanent self-employment and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the district.
Earlier, DC made a detailed evaluation about the status of awareness campaigns going on at the panchayat level, the objective of the municipal wards of the district was to cover all the eligible beneficiaries under the mission youth.
He also evaluated the progress of DPR formulation by stakeholder departments including EDI, DIC, DSEO and Employment Department that 329 DPRs have been prepared so far and DLIC is being presented for approval.
During the meeting, detailed information was given on the status of Mission Uva, including the number of, processed, approved, etc. received under the scheme.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Rifat Aftab Qureshi; Chief Planning Officer, Phase Ahmed Dar; General Manager DIC, Heda Akhtar; SDM West, Irfan Bahadur, Deputy Director Employment, Dr. Officers of Sheeba, DSEO, Shah Ismail Bangu, LDM (Bank), Nilofer Jaan and officers of EDI, NABARD, NRLM, Agriculture and other related departments.
