Budgam, May 27: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labra made a comprehensive journey to review the development and restoration of the ongoing development and restoration at the Dia-Nag Shiva temple in the Charar-e-Shirais area and the Dia-Nag Shiva temple in the Budgam area.
The yatra is part of a comprehensive initiative under the Archives and Restoration Scheme for the purpose of preserving and developing cultural and heritage sites across the district.
During his visit to the revered Charr-e-Sharif Shrine, DC inspected several components under the current execution as part of a major heritage upgradation scheme.
Major events include Deori Path, additional lavetri and toilet blocks around the temple, beautification of historic Bada-Pond, including fencing around the water body contributing to the beauty and environmental revival of the pilgrimage site, which is for the construction of the crooks in the Garr-I-Sharf region, which is subject to construction and upgraded.
Speaking on the occasion, DC emphasized that the objective of these interventions is to preserve the spiritual and cultural essence of the Charar-e-Sharp by providing better facilities to the pilgrims and visitors.
Later, DC also visited the Dia-Nag Shiva temple in Budgam, where many restoration and beautification work is going on.
Major components include, walnut wood paneling for increased beauty and structural quality as an internal, external aspect that rejuvenates the Deori Stone Work and RCC-based retrofiting, spring area, which includes complete reconstruction and installation of structural steel fencing, gate and fencing, which has a fan, which is a fan, which is a fan, which has a fan, and fencing, which is sneed with fan and fencing. He said, with projects focused on both infrastructure and historical conservation, the Budgam administration is aligning its development goals with promotion of spiritual tourism and permanent heritage protection.
