Anantnag, August 02: Economic crimes of Crime Branch Kashmir discovered several places in Anantnag district of South Kashmir on Saturday and arrested an accused person -Shahid Rahman Bhat S/O AB. Rahman Bhat R/O Shangas, Novagam District Anantnag- to cheat crores of rupees from people.
In a statement, a spokesperson said that “the Economic Offenses Wing (Crime Branch Kashmir) received several written complaints, alleging that Shahid Rahman Bhat S/O AB.” The complainants further alleged that the accused neither provided the accused and returned the money after receiving the huge amount. He said.
He said that criminal act on behalf of the accused Prima Facial reveals the commission of crime.
He further stated that “the accused had applied for” bail “, however, the bail application has been rejected by the Honorable Court of Edal. Sessions Judge Anantnag has ordered 02.08.2025 based on the order.
