The BJP has fielded UP minister Jitin Prasada from Pilibhit to replace sitting MP Varun Gandhi. Neither he nor his mother Maneka Gandhi attended the prime minister’s rally.

PM Modi accused Congress of insulting ‘Shakti’.

“Today, ‘Shakti’ who is worshiped in this country, ‘Shakti’ is insulted by Congress. He said the manifesto prepared by the Congress seemed to be that of the Muslim League and not that of the Congress.

“The Congress and Samajwadi Party are also opposing the CAA due to the pressure of appeasement,” he said, claiming that Hindus and Sikhs were forced to flee foreign lands due to the atrocities committed against them.

He also asked many such families living in Pilibete to apply for citizenship and “guaranteed” that “they will be free from these problems forever”.

“You will be proud to live as a citizen of India,” the prime minister said.

He said the BJP stands firmly with the Sikhs while drawing attention to the removal of the ‘Langhar’ project from the GST and the opening of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor by the BJP government.

He said that the BJP government celebrated Guru Nanak Dev’s 550th Prakash Parv, Guru Teg Bahadur’s 550th Parv 400th Prakash Parv and Guru Gobind Singh’s 350th Prakash Parv, adding, “Congress Party & Its Indian Union is not ashamed to “insult the great men of the country”.

He also slammed Congress and Samajwadi Party leaders for not visiting the Statue of Unity to pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

He said his government was working hard to achieve the goal of a developed India.

“With your vote, a strong government, a decisive government and an effective government are formed. The BJP government shows the world that India is not behind anyone,” he said.

The Prime Minister said that if India is determined, it will definitely achieve any goal no matter how difficult it is.

“Today, with this inspiration and energy, we are working to solve the problems of developed India,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi said that the Congress government once asked the world for help, but during the COVID-19 epidemic, India provided medicines to the world.
