Committee meeting on petitions in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 30, KDC: On the petitions of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, the House Committee today called a meeting in the assembly premises in Srinagar to discuss issues related to the housing department.

The meeting was chaired by Committee Chairman Pirzada Farooq Ahmad Shah and Attended by Members Mushtaq Guroo, Salman Sagar, Mian Mehar Mehar Ali, Vijay Kumar and THAKUR RANDHIR SINGH.

Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza also participated in the proceedings.

The committee discussed a threadbear discussion on a petition submitted by the Housing Department about the recovery of the land of 12 Marlus in Charani Ram, 12 Marlus in Jammu, Ghulam Qadir Wani.

The issues raised in the petition focused on identifying practical and time to time.

Members assured deep commitment to resolve real public grievances through a structured and responsible mechanism.

The Speaker, emphasized the responsibility of the committee to carefully examine each petition, which prevents timely prevention and solution of real concerns. He reiterated that the committee would report to the House on specific complaints and recommend appropriate therapeutic measures as necessary.

He emphasized the importance of active cooperation and easy contribution from all members and concerned officials to ensure the committee’s lively and effective functioning.
