CM Omar inaugurated the Yatra and Tourism Fair in Ahmedabad; Invites passengers to detect Kashmir

Gandhinagar (Gujarat), July 31: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today gave a hot invitation to passengers across the country to detect the unique beauty, rich culture and warm hospitality of Jammu and Kashmir.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) at the Mahatma Temple Convention and Exhibition Center in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Highlighting the vast tourism capacity of Jammu and Kashmir, the Chief Minister said that the region provides various experiences for the passengers throughout the year. He emphasized the growing tourism exchange between Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir and reiterated the government’s commitment to Jammu and Kashmir as a vibrant, all-season destination.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA Pahgam Altaf Ahmed Wani and MLA Gularag Farooq Ahmed Shah. The event was also from the presence of Gujarat Government, Tourism Minister, Mulubhai Bera, who participated as a guest of honor.

Senior officials of J&K government were also present at the event, including Dhiraj Gupta, Chief Minister Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma, Additional Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary of J&K were included. Officials of Gujarat Government, Rajendra Kumar, Secretary Tourism, Government of Gujarat, Prabhav Joshi, Tourism Commissioner and MD, Gujarat Limited Tourism Corporation were also present.

The Chief Minister is engaged with exhibitions in J&K Yatra and Tourism Industry. He visited the exhibition hall to interact with the representatives and businesses, showing his offerings.

During his visit to Gujarat for Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF), Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also called Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar yesterday. The meeting focused on strengthening inter-state cooperation, promoting tourism and exchange of best practices for inclusive development.

Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) will see the largest travel trade show in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, participation of over 900 exhibitions, more than 70 travel of J&K and international representation from tourism stakeholders and Sri Lanka. The program is as a major platform for B2B networking and tourism promotion.

The press release stated that Ahmedabad – One of the major hubs of India for domestic and outbound journey, with its twin city Gandhinagar, determines the stage for the upcoming celebration and winter journey season. The program is expected to attract more than 12,500 trade professionals during the three -day run from 31 July to August 2, 2025.

This year TTF is impressive the participation of Jammu and Kashmir tourism in Ahmedabad, which shows adventure, pilgrimage, heritage, and off-beat destination for film and golf tourism. The J&K mandapa tradition, attracting wide attention to the mixture of beautiful beauty and new age travel experiences, gives visitors a glimpse in the rich and diverse offerings of the region.

TTF Ahmedabad is hosting more than 25 Indian states and center areas. Since Gujarat continues itself as a growing center for trade events and exhibitions, TTF remains an important event for Ahmedabad industry networking, partnership construction, and business generations, providing a unique platform for Jammu and Kashmir, which provides a unique platform to join the travel trade professionals and to increase its tourist footsteps.

Jhala Joint Managing Director Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited as well as several other dignitaries, traveling industry leaders and association chiefs.
