CM Omar Abdullah revealed major development projects, Foundation Foundation for new works in rich

Gandarbal, May 20: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated several development projects, held foundation stones for various upcoming tasks and interacted with people to know their complaints.

The Chief Minister, who represents the Genderbel constituency in the J&K Legislative Assembly, said that it is “a commitment to improve the basic facilities of our government and to improve the quality of life for all.”

In Bakura, the Chief Minister inaugurated the water supply scheme – an important project that will ensure clean and reliable drinking water in the area. The scheme has been completed under the JKIDFC program. The scheme is a groundwater-based project, with a revised cost of Rs 329.04 lakh.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the old age house in Pandach, which was constructed at a cost of Rs 499 lakh. The two -storey facility includes medical rooms, dining halls and housing for elderly residents. The Chief Minister inspected the facility and visited various rooms including men and women wards, kitchens and cardio sections.

Expressing his satisfaction on the facility, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that this is an important step towards ensuring dignity and care for our senior citizens.

Similarly, in Safapora, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of science block in Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) Safapora – an important additional additional to strengthen the technical education of the institution.

CM Omar Abdullah said, “Technology is the backbone of modern entrepreneurship – our youth must be equipped to lead the future.”

In Wahidpora, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Central Veterinary Hospital. The project, with an estimated cost of Rs 437.82 lakh, includes the construction of a two -storey structure to increase the veterinary infrastructure in the district.

“An important step towards strengthening rural infrastructure and supporting our farmers and livestock owners. It is important to ensure quality animal healthcare for a prosperous agricultural economy,” CM said.

Later, the Chief Minister visited the Mata Kheer Bhavani Temple, where he reviewed the facilities available to the devotees for the upcoming fair Kheer Bhavani. He also interacted with temple management and devotees, who brought many issues in his notice.

“It is our top priority to ensure a smooth, safe and welcome environment for the devotees,” he said.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah assured him that all the flags will be resolved on priority to smooth the upcoming Mata Kheer Bhavani Festival.

In addition, the Chief Minister today distributed scooty among the competent persons in the genderbal, empowering them to go smoothly about their routine.

“My government is committed to creating an inclusive society, where everyone can thrive,” he commented.

The Chief Minister, later in the day, organized a public court, where he met dozens of deputation and scores of individuals who flagged off their demands, issues and complaints before him.

People from all corners and remote areas of the district came to the court and raised the issues of their respective areas. People participating in areas such as Vasura, Manigam, Saliva, Mansabal, Safapora, Kangan, Gund, Fatehpora, Dagpora, Vel, Sherpathri, Talbugh, Behma, Nunar and many other areas participated.

He raised issues like potable water supply, establishment of a district library, upgradation of model schools, health centers and educational institutions, new industrial wealth, road connectivity, municipal and hygiene concerns, old age and disability pension, building grounds, bridges and bridges, earnings and development of new irrigation cannals.

The Chief Minister patiently heard all the complaints and assured that all real issues would be resolved on priority.
