Raipur, Oct 24 (IANS) Chhattisgarh is set to witness an important moment as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to visit the state on November 1 to inaugurate the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Tribal Freedom Fighters Memorial and Museum.
He will also participate in the state’s 25th Foundation Day celebrations – Silver Jubilee Rajyotsav. With the entire administrative machinery in full swing, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai personally inspected the venues in Nava Raipur on Friday carefully, leaving no detail unturned.
CM Sai first visited Sri Sathya Sai Hospital, where a high-profile health outreach program is scheduled, followed by Prajapita Brahma Kumari Meditation Centre. He directed, “The Prime Minister’s program here will be a spiritual milestone; peace and accuracy should be transmitted from every corner.”
The centerpiece of the tour was the under-construction Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Tribal Freedom Fighters Memorial and Museum – a state-of-the-art tribute to the unsung tribal heroes of Chhattisgarh. “Born from the vision of Prime Minister Modi, this museum will be an eternal symbol of tribal bravery and sacrifice,” he announced.
Using state-of-the-art VFX, digital projection and mobile QR scanners, each gallery will provide visitors with a vivid, real-time experience of historical rebellions like the Halba rebellion and the Paralkot rebellion. “Coming generations will not just read history – they will live it,” Tsai said, ordering round-the-clock work to complete the beautification ahead of the November 1 inauguration.
The main grounds of Rajyotsav have transformed into a vibrant celebration of the journey of Chhattisgarh since its inception on November 1, 2000.
CM Sai inspected the grand stage, departmental domes, exhibition galleries, parking zones and public access roads.
“To make this historic occasion even more special, Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be visiting Chhattisgarh on the State Foundation Day, November 1. On this occasion, he will inaugurate the newly constructed Assembly Building and Tribal Museum in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar and will also inaugurate the State Mahotsav. Today I inspected the proposed program venues in Nava Raipur, reviewed the preparations and issued the release.” Necessary instructions to officials,” CM Sai wrote while sharing pictures of the visit on his X handle.
In a citizen-friendly move, the state has declared November 1 as a local and general holiday for all schools, colleges and educational institutions, to allow students and families to join in the festivities. With cultural troupes, tribal art exhibitions and developmental demonstrations planned in all 33 districts, Chhattisgarh is set to present a unified story of resilience and progress.
