The professional dancer opened up about her struggle with body dysmorphia while competing in dance performances. ABC reality series.

Burke revealed she would be able to “train” Holmes, 46, after he asked how long it would take for her to return to the show. She said even if she was confident she could train Holmes, she would need to change her appearance.

“As far as wearing one of these outfits, I might be on some, I don’t know, some kind of strict diet,” she said, quickly adding, “But that’s the body dysmorphia I’m always going to have. . .I’m very open to it.”

She went on to discuss her experience as a professional dancer on the show, highlighting how this led to people speaking poorly of her physique.

“I started when I was 21,” Burke recalled. “I had this horrible moment of, ‘She’s too fat for TV.'” ”

“I was growing as a woman. Just like that, I did gain weight,” she explained.

Burke claims she had a magical experience around the time of season seven.

“When you first see yourself being talked about like you were on KTLA, you’re like, ‘Wait, what is this?’ “

Robach, 51, quickly asked: “Wait, what? Are you being talked about? What does your body look like?”

“Yes,” Burke confirmed.

“Who said you were overweight?” Robach asked.

“I think it’s just people like people who watch this show. I mean, you know, I did gain a few pounds during the break. Yeah, I mean, like us, naturally it’s right, “But, compared to a lot of other working women, I’m curvy,” Burke said, adding.

Burke went on to share how “whenever [she] Weight gain does occur, that’s a thing. “
