The minister said that funds have been allocated for the construction of eight projects on National Highway 913 (border highway) to transition to a middle lane configuration using EPC mode.

The total length of the project is 265.49 kilometers.

“The initiative includes Package 3 and 5 covering the Huri-Taliha stretch, two packages for the Bile-Migging stretch, Package 2 and 4 to manage the Kharsang-Miao-Gandhigram-Vijaynagar stretch, and key Focus on the package for the Bomdila stretch-Navra-Lada stretch,” the transport minister said.

He said the development of these highways is expected to enhance connectivity with border areas and boost socio-economic growth in the state.
