A press conference is scheduled for Sunday evening, where the Commission may announce the election dates or indicate a timeline.

Political observers hope that elections will be held in several stages between October and November 2025, similar to the final assembly elections.

Meanwhile, with the final voter list published on 30 September after two months of intensive amendment, Bihar is now waiting for the announcement of voting dates.

Political activity is getting hot as the ruling NDA displays its welfare plans, while the opposition intensifies its attack on issues such as unemployment, inflation, law and order and corruption.

Analysts estimate that once the dates are announced, the political temperature of Bihar will rise rapidly, which will set the platform for a high-day electoral battle on 243 assembly seats in the state.
