Anantnag, 02 August: The Economic Offenses Wing (Crime Branch Kashmir) today discovered several places in District Anantnag, in which case FIR number 16/2025 was arrested under Section 318 (4) BNS 2023 and one accused person was arrested along with Shahid Rehman Bhat S/O AB. Rahman Bhat R/O Shangas, Novagam District Anantnag (Proprietor of Messrs AR Trading Agri Services Private Limited) is involved in cheating crores of rupees.
In a release release to Rising Kashmir, CBK said, “The brief fact in the case is that the Economic Offenses Wing (Crime Branch Kashmir) received several written complaints, alleging that Shahid Rehman Bhat S/O AB.
“The complainants further alleged that after receiving a huge amount of funds, the accused neither provide those high -density apple plants nor returned the money, but have hidden. The statements of the bank transactions presented by the complainants reveal that the accused has caught innocent complaints/farmers,” it reads.
“The accused filed a bail application before the Hon’ble Court of Law, however, the bail application has been rejected by the Honorable Court of Edal. Sessions Judge Anantnag has submitted strong objections submitted by Crime Branch Kashmir and Prima facial prosecution evidence.
