After England’s comprehensive defeat in the third Test match in Rajkot, Indian cricket team’s great batsman Kris Srikkanth gave a cruel verdict on buzzball. England were all out for only 122 runs, with Mark Wood being their top scorer with 33 runs. Ahead of the series, the buzzball was being considered a major threat to the hosts but Srikkanth believes the strategy has not worked and has not supported the hype built around the aggressive brand of cricket.

In a video posted by him Youtube channelSrikanth also said that England has no chance of making a comeback in the current series.

When asked about England’s chances of returning, Srikkanth joked, “If possible, they can catch the next flight home. But, they have to play the remaining two Tests.”

“I think it’s baseball and all these principles that they preached. Where has it worked? Has it worked in the Ashes? Frankly, no strategy can work if they keep playing like this. This baseball There was a lot of hype about the theory. To support all that stuff, I think they need skill to bat in these conditions. You need talent to bowl,” he said.

The win in Rajkot means India lead the five-match series 2-1.

Srikkanth also said that he believed Bizzball would work in the long run and advised the England cricket team management to adapt as per the circumstances.

“Yes, they batted well first. Ollie Pope played an exceptional innings. I am giving due credit to England.”

“I don’t think it (baseball) will work for a long time. Just going out there and trying to hit every ball… I think Brendon McCullum can bat that way, Ben Stokes can bat that way. Can do. Not everyone can do it.” Successfully,” he added.
