A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two boys in a village under the jurisdiction of Durbahar police station in the district, police said on Sunday.
Additional Superintendent of Police Durga Prasad Tiwari said, “According to the family, the incident took place on March 7.
Based on a complaint from the girl’s father, an FIR has been lodged in connection with the incident. Both defendants in this case are minors. ”
The police on Saturday booked the two boys under Section 376 D (gang rape) of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act.
“Investigation into the matter is ongoing. The minor accused is yet to be detained,” the officer said.
