Cancer-stricken Kate Middleton may attend friend’s wedding

If Kate is healthy enough to attend her friends’ weddings in Kenya later this year, she should be filled with nostalgia.

for daily mailRoyal author Richard Eden has suggested the Princess of Wales could attend Joss Craig and Miranda Simpson’s recent engagement in Kenya.

Craig’s father, William, is the owner of the 55,000-acre Lewa Wildlife Sanctuary, and the future King of England knelt down in front of Kate in 2010.

“‘Wouldn’t it be great if Catherine could come to the wedding?'” a friend of the princess told the media.

William and Kate’s love story began in 2001 after meeting at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Ten years later, the couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding and welcomed three children.

Attendance at José and Miranda’s future wedding has been in the balance due to the princess’ apparent health issues. Kate underwent major abdominal surgery in January this year.

She was recently diagnosed with an undisclosed cancer, which was discovered during a post-operative checkup after surgery.
