On Friday local time, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar met with Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. The talks between the leaders of the two countries focused on the current status of bilateral relations.
Jaishankar and Melanie Jolly also exchanged views on the global situation. According to an official statement, the 60th Munich Security Conference (MSC) held live events from February 16 to 18 at the traditional venue, Hotel Bavaria Hof in Munich. This year’s conference was chaired by Christoph Heusgen, Germany’s ambassador to the United States.
Earlier, Jaishankar held a meeting with German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock to discuss global challenges and the way forward. The two leaders reviewed preparations for the next India-Germany inter-governmental consultation meeting.
