A scooty rider lost his life after hitting a bus near Kazigand toll plaza in Kulgam district of South Kashmir on Sunday.
An official said the incident occurred when the bus bearing registration number JK02BB-1866 coming from Jammu reached the Nayavug tunnel area near the toll plaza Kajigund and a scooty bearing registration number collided with JK03N-2789.
He said that Scooty Rider, he was identified as Mohammad Yusuf Khan, who died on the spot after coming under the bus, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Khan, resident of Nodura, Doru.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident and started further proceedings- (KNO)
