Budgam, August 07: A series of lively activities and events continued in Budgam district as part of every ongoing tricolor campaign, which is being seen as part of the Amrit Mahotsav of independence with enthusiastic participation from educational institutions, municipal bodies and local communities.
In PM Shri HSS Kandura Birwah, students demonstrated their talent in essay writing and painting competitions, expressing their patriotism through words and art. Similarly, PM Shri GHSS Dagger organized an enthusiastic tricolor rally, where the students marched with the national flag, echoed the message of unity.
To celebrate the program, students of HSS Khanshib participated in many attractive activities including cultural performances, speeches and thematic exhibitions. In HSS Khag, colored rangoli designs were created by students, which reflect both creativity and devotion for the national cause.
A special attraction came from the Ishtiaque Memorial Government Girls Middle School, Drang (Zone Khag), where students prepared a beautiful thread work tricolor as a tribute to the nation. GDC Magam hosted a day program of paintings, wall paintings and rangoli competitions with active participation of students and faculty members.
Municipal Committee Chadura organized a tricolor journey, a successful house, which brings officers and citizens together in the collective festival of national pride. Tricolor rallies were organized by the Municipal Council Budgam in several wards, promoting collective awareness and public participation.
As part of the campaign, all major government buildings were illuminated in the colors of the national flag, becoming visual symbols of patriotism during the evening hours. In the entire district, government buildings, institutions and private houses proudly hoisted Budgam into a living representation of unity and pride. (KDC)
