A convicted double murderer has pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images of children before being sentenced for the murders of a London couple.
Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, murdered civil partners Albert Alfonso, 62, and Paul Longworth, 71, at their flat in Scotts Road, West on July 8, 2024. London Suburb of Shepherd’s Bush.
Two days later, he was seen on Bristol’s Clifton Suspension Bridge with two large suitcases – one of which was leaking blood, the Metropolitan Police said.
He fled when challenged by a member of the public, and when the police were called, they found body parts inside the suitcase.

A luggage tag led them to Shepherd’s Bush’s flat, where they found the severed heads of Mr Alphonso and Mr Longworth, along with other body parts stored in a chest freezer.

However, the court heard he also faces three new charges.
Mosquera pleaded guilty to three counts of possessing indecent images or pseudonymous images of children.
He admitted that he had 1,500 images of Category A, 750 images of Category B and 4,000 images of Category C.
Mr Justice Bennathan jailed Mosquera for 16 months and told the defendant: “After you were arrested your laptop and other devices were confiscated.
“They were examined and found to contain at least 1,500 Category A indecent images or pseudonymous images, some of them moving images of children.
“They were very young children who were being subjected to various forms of sexual abuse of truly horrific detail and nature.”
The judge said the prison sentence for those crimes would run concurrently with Mosquera’s sentence for the murders of Mr. Alfonso and Mr. Longworth.
