Srinagar, Aug 22, KDC: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday ordered two government employees in Kupwara district of North Kashmir to abolish the alleged involvement with his alleged terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Tabiba.
Employees have been identified as Kharshid Ahmed, but a teacher posted in Karnah, and Siyad Ahmed Khan, sheep husband, is serving as a assistant Stockman in the department, Keran.
According to officials, action was taken after law enforcement and intelligence agencies, which gathered “physical evidence” to establish their direct relations with the Lashkar-e-Tabiba operators.
A senior government worker confirmed that it was terminated under Article 311 (2) (C) of the Constitution of India, which gives the government the right to dismiss employees without an investigation if necessary in the interest of security of the state.
The administration has intensified its cracks on suspected government employees of links with militant groups in recent years, as part of similar provisions dozens have ended since 2021.
An official said Kharshid Ahmed (Tax) was appointed in the Government Service in 2003 as Rahbar-e-Kalem (RET) in the Department of School Education and was confirmed as a teacher in 2008. He is posted in Maindpora Nava Gabra Kupwara of Government Primary School. Currently, he is under suspension since his arrest on 26.01.2024 and has been recorded in the District Jail, Kupwara.
“The car has been listed in the police records as a terrorist associate/over ground worker (OGW), which is in the form of terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Toba (LeT),” the official said.
“Despite being employed and paid by the government to serve in the education department, the tax violated the trust and selected to connect himself with late. “On 25.01.2024, Police Kupwara received a reliable information that late outfit Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh @ Shakur (Kashmiri country operative from Pakistan), two competer -based terrorist and Qazi Mohammad Khushal (Kashmiri country operative from Pakistan), his local colleagues, Khurshid Ahmed (tax), Khurshid Ahmed (Kar), Zahur Ahmad Bhat, Ghurm Sarawar, rather Ghurm Sarawar, rather Ghurm Saravar, rather Ghurm Saravar Through Qazi Fazal, Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the country were made easy with the aim of promoting terrorism.
“On this, a case FIR No. 07/2024 was registered at Police Station Karni Kupwara under Section 120 -B IPC, 13, 18, 20, 23,38, 39 UA (P) Act. During the investigation, Zahur Ahmad Bhat was arrested at 25.01.2024 and was established that he was contacted with the brain and the boundary cross. One of which he hid in Kachwayan Karnu Nalla Karna and said that a consignment of weapons/ammunition was recovered from the said place.

From the seized weapons and ammunition, 03 AK Type Rifle (short) MP5, 03 magazines and 16 rounds were recovered on the basis of disclosure of taxes. These weapons and ammunition were hidden by tax and Mudsir Shafiq. ,
The official further said that Sak is conducting its activities in a very secret and veil manner to avoid the suspicion of the security forces.
