A TEENAGER has died after a horrific crash involving a farm vehicle.
The 16-year-old, from Worththorn, Lancashire, died from injuries he sustained after his £30,000 Polaris Ranger farm bike crashed into a field.
Police said the incident occurred at 12:41 a.m. on Saturday. His passenger, a 17-year-old man from Burnley, escaped serious injury.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said officers were seeking witnesses and dashcam footage. They added that no other vehicles were involved.
Sgt Martin Wilcock added: “This collision resulted in the death of a teenager and my thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.”

“We are satisfied this is no longer a criminal investigation and we are now conducting an inquiry on behalf of the coroner.
