BJP has ended the crisis of credibility in politics in Bihar: Rajnath Singh

The senior BJP leader said that his party implements what it promises.

Darbhanga:

Seeking support for the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said the BJP has ended the credibility crisis in Indian politics by fulfilling the promises made to the people.

Addressing a rally here, Singh also talked about the Modi government awarding Bharat Ratna to Karpoori Thakur and said the Congress ignored him.

Singh said, “During Congress times, only one family used to get all the honours. Our Prime Minister also gave Bharat Ratna to PV Narasimha Rao ji, who was a Congress leader. We respected his contribution.”

The senior BJP leader said that his party implements what it promises.

“We deliver what we promise. During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections when the election manifesto was being prepared, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-ji used to regularly remind me that I should take utmost care that “None of the promises that we cannot keep should find a place in the manifesto,” he said.

He said, “PM Modi had also said the same thing in 2019. You can pick up both the manifestos and see for yourself whether we have fulfilled the promises we made or not.”

He said, “Since 1951 when we were working as Jan Sangh, we used to talk about removing Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. We did what we said. We said we will abolish triple talaq, we did so.”

Singh also mentioned the movement launched by BJP for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.

“When the movement was going on for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, I led a group of Kar Sevaks as the national president of Yuva Morcha. I even had to go to jail for this movement. Today a grand Ram temple is being built. Construction has taken place.” In Ayodhya,” he said.

Singh said that BJP has been saying since 1984 that whenever it gets a chance, a grand Ram temple will be constructed in Ayodhya. “The opposition used to make fun of us by claiming that we will build the temple but we would not reveal the date. Now everyone knows the date of January 22,” Singh said.

“When Congress was in power, they used to say that they would eradicate poverty. But they failed to do so. Whereas under the leadership of Modi ji, 25 crore people have come out of poverty in 10 years. Poverty cannot be eradicated. Could.” Giving speeches,” Singh said.

He also said that annual defense exports have increased from Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 20,000 crore.

He said, “When I became Defense Minister, there were defense exports from India worth about Rs 1,000 crore. Now it has increased to more than Rs 20,000 crore. Defense production worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore is happening in the country.”

Singh called upon the people to vote BJP back to power.

“I will tell you why you should cast your vote in favor of Bharatiya Janata Party. You can say that everyone appreciates the party and the government and I am also doing the same.” He said.

He said, “But, it is not so. There are many intellectuals sitting here. I am saying that if you do not agree with me then you can challenge me publicly.”

He said, “Why am I saying that the track record of the BJP government has been excellent. Almost 10 years have passed since our government was formed. You have seen the functioning of the previous governments, especially the Congress government.”

The Defense Minister said that the Modi government ensured that the faith reposed in us by the people never wavered. “All previous Congress governments have been facing some or the other allegations of corruption. But no one can dare to make allegations against our government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.” The Defense Minister said that India’s global stature has also increased under the leadership of PM Modi.

“India’s credibility in the international community has been established. PM Modi spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. When needed, he also spoke to (US President) Joe Biden,” he said.

“The war stopped for a short time and Indian students in Ukraine can return home,” he said, referring to India’s evacuation mission after the start of the Ukraine conflict.

He said, “It is the result of India’s goodwill that eight former Indian sailors who were given death sentence in Qatar were pardoned. This work cannot be done by anyone except Modiji.”

“We gave 33 per cent reservation to women in Parliament. We took some tough decisions. We took decisions that significantly reduced the non-performing assets of banks,” he said.
