Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy was elected from Ongole Lok Sabha constituency in 2019 on YSRCP ticket

The TDP has fielded Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy, father of Raghava Magunta, as its candidate for the Ongole Lok Sabha seat.
Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy was elected from Ongole Lok Sabha constituency in 2019 on the YSRCP ticket. He recently abandoned the ruling party citing “self-esteem” issues in the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led party.
The TDP on Friday announced Mr Reddy from Ongole constituency as its candidate.
Reacting to the seat allotment to Srinivasulu Reddy, political analyst Trakkapalli Ravi told PTI, “This is the paradox of today’s politics. Talking about high morals, attacking and criticizing others We forget all the ethics of our cases.”
Magunta Raghava was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate last year in connection with the Delhi liquor scam. He later became an approver.
The TDP joins hands with the BJP in the southern state for the upcoming elections.
The Enforcement Directorate is probing the Delhi excise policy scam.
